Alpha Flight

More Superheroines.

For those unfamiliar to Alpha Flight, Alpha Flight was a Marvel Comic and part of the X-Men universe. Alpha Flight is a group of unique Canadian Superhero mutants. Since most people know that Wolverine is Canadian, the origin of Wolverine as per Marvel comics was that he was part of Alpha Flight before getting recruited into the X-men. For a while there was some conflict between Alpha and the X-Men as they tried to get their star member back. The original Alpha Flight included only two women (Snowbird and Aurora) but expanded later to include Marrina, then Vindicator, then Talisman. Male members included Gaurdian (James Hudson) Heather's husband who had the same suit and powers, Shaman (Michael Twoyoungmann) Talisman's father, who had the same powers as her, Northstar (Jean-Paul Beaubier) Aurora's twin brother, who had the same powers as her, and Puck (Eugene Judd) a dwarf with powers similar to Beast. Since I almost exclusively make only females characters, I reduced the group to its female members plus Sasquatch, cause the other men are redundant but Alpha Flight just isn't Alpha Flight without Sasquatch.

Vindicator:
Vindicator, aka Heather MacNeil Hudson is the leader of Alpha Flight, with a direct line to the Prime Minister of Canada. She adopted the role after her husband James Hudson, aka Guardian got hurt. She has the power of flight and force field generation and can manipulate geothermic energy.

Aurora:
Aurora, aka Jeanne-Marie Beaubier is a member of Alpha Flight. Jeanne-Marie is the twin sister of Jean-Claude Beaubier, aka Northstar, and both twins share identical abilities. The both can fly, and have super speed and reflexes. When her bother and her hold hands, they can create a blinding flash of light also. Jeanne-Marie however has an identity crisis. She was raised by strict nuns which ended up giving her a split personality. She is sometimes very conservative, reserved and religious but can become a wild one when she is in her Aurora mode.

Talisman:
Talisman, aka Elizabeth Twoyoungmen is a member of Alpha Flight. Elizabeth inherited her father's powers who was known as Shaman with Alpha Flight. She has the mystical powers of ancient Sacree tribe shaman where she can see things in the spirit dimension and can command forces from them as well. She is comparable with Dr. Strange's powers. She also carries her father's totem bag which contains the endless void where she can cast evil doers.

Marrina:

Marrina, aka Marina Smallwood is a member of Alpha Flight. Marrina is not a mutant however, but an alien from Plodex. She was an egg on earth out off the Newfoundland coast and found by a fisherman. Her DNA adapted a human like form after hatching that was equally at home on land or sea. Marrina can swim fast and breath underwater like Namor or Aquaman and can tolerate extreme cold and pressure. On land she is extra strong and fast. She can also manipulate water to a certain degree. She does sometimes go into a berserker mode which makes her very deadly.

Snowbird:
Snowbird, aka Narya (her Inuit name) or Anne MacKenzie (her official name) is a member of Alpha Flight. Snowbird was the child of two Arctic Inuit gods who was delivered into human form by Shaman of Alpha Flight. Her powers are bound to Canada, so she is powerless and weakened outside of our borders. Her abilities are that she can take the form of any Canadian beasts. She often takes the form of a snowy owl, polar bear, wolverine, and sometimes, a whale, a wendigo, a Sasquatch or even a swarm of mosquitoes. She often works with the Canadian Rangers in the north and is an RCMP officer in civilian life.

Oh, well done, hon! I was always a huge Alpha Flight fan, but they never looked this good. :)
